What is the Interactive Viewer?
The interactive viewer is a smart feature that helps you comfortably view your generated chart on a browser screen (smartphone, tablet, PC). It doesn't just display a static image; it allows you to interactively manage the progress of the row you are currently knitting.
Core Features Introduction
1. Current Row Highlighting and Progress Display
In the viewer, the entire chart is dimmed, and only the current row you are knitting is brightly highlighted. This significantly reduces the chance of making a mistake, as your eyes aren't distracted by surrounding stitches.
- You can move the highlighted line up or down by clicking the [β Prev] / [Next βΆ] buttons at the bottom (or top) of the screen.
- You can also jump straight to a specific row by typing the row number directly into the input field.
- On the right side, your progress (%) relative to the total number of rows is displayed in real-time, boosting your sense of accomplishment.
2. Four View Modes (Toggle View)
Click the buttons at the top of the chart to instantly switch to the viewing mode that is most comfortable for you.
- Front Only: Use this when you want to simply check the colorwork chart for the front, ignoring the back.
- Back Only: Useful when you want to mid-check if the color pattern on the back is appearing correctly. You can use it to verify your stitches while working on even rows (back side).
- Alternate View (Highly Recommended!): This mode shows the 'actual sequence of yarn colors' you need to knit in the current row. We highly recommend this mode for beginners, as you can knit intuitively by following the exact color sequence shown on the screen without complex calculations.
- Detailed Chart: Displays a wide chart where both front and back stitches are laid out side-by-side. Useful when you need to pinpoint color placements stitch by stitch.
3. Zooming and Panning
You can view the chart without straining your eyes, even on a small smartphone screen.
- You can zoom the chart to your desired size using the slider in the viewer controls or by pressing the [+] and [-] buttons.
- Pressing the [Fit] button will automatically adjust the chart scale to perfectly fit your current window size.
- Pinch-to-zoom is supported on touch screens. By clicking and dragging with a mouse (or scrolling on a trackpad), you can freely pan the canvas in any direction.
4. Keyboard Shortcut Support
When using a PC or connected Bluetooth keyboard, it's incredibly convenient to advance the row by simply pressing the Up (β) and Down (β) arrow keys without taking your hands off your knitting needles.
